Less than a week ago Slaughterhouse Sue was merrily posting up propaganda articles on her United Horsemen page about how a slaughter-house was going to save the small town of Rockville, Missouri and how happy everybody was about it. She has been promising to be in business by the end of the September and encouraging her supporters to `hammer’ the USDA to get the inspections under way. And who can ever forget her parting words in March of this year when she tried to foist the same bag of crap on Mountain Grove, Missouri? “”Discussion’s over. Make all the noise you want. We’re going into business” Well, it turns out that Ole Suey’s ducks weren’t quite all in a row. Shocking, I know.
Thanks to a damning investigative report by John Holland, released by The Equine Welfare Alliance (http://www.equinewelfarealliance.org/uploads/Rockville_plant_report-final.pdf),we now know that “September” must be Suespeak for “never”. Either Slaughterhouse Sue isn’t very good at business or she’s just a ginormous liar. Personally, I think it’s a whole bunch of both. It seems that the facility that Ole Suey has led people to believe is undergoing renovations in preparations to be the first horse slaughter facility to open on US soil since 2007, does not actually belong to her or any of her various organizations she likes to hide behind. In fact, it seems the ownership of the plant is in question all together and is currently tied up in a quagmire of liens and legal actions against the former operators and the myriad of dummy companies they set up to avoid paying their bills and court judgements. It appears Slaughterhouse Sue and her attorney Dan Erdel were more than a little premature when they formed two new companies (does anybody have a tally on how many this makes for Sue?) and requested federal inspections for the Rockville facility. Of course since they don’t actually own the property, that’s all for naught anyhow. What they also neglected to do was file applications for the required permits with various Missouri agencies. She also couldn’t be arsed to take a break from writing shitty poetry and obsessive facebooking long enough to actually let Temple Grandin know she is designing all these imaginary facilities as well. Can you say Gong Show?
In the past 24 hours, I have seen this news linked far and wide on almost every social media site pertaining to horses. The PSAs have been creepily silent about it probably because this is going to be real hard to spin to their advantage. One poor soul linked it on the United Horsemen’s page and asked if it was true. Naturally Slaughterhouse Sue has gone to ground and is not commenting on anything since this came to light, so it was up to Douchebag Duquette and Holy Mother Manzella to attempt calm the fears of the horse eaters…
“This is a silly desperate attempt from a Lawyer from a lawyer that had Sex, and drug charges against her???? Don’t believe the EWA. Remember they are the ones that did a 6 month investigation into the abandoned horse and the only ones they found were at the border in Texas”
This was the response of Douchebag Dave. Besides being nearly unintelligible, what Douchebag Dave neglects to mention is that the lawyer he is referring to is Cynthia MacPherson who is still very much a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar Association. She was falsely accused along with others by an older attorney with a long history of `issues’ and ethics violations. So much so in fact, that her accuser is the one that ended up being disbarred by the Missouri Supreme Court (link to article at the end of this blog entry). Hardly surprising to see Douchebag Dave `go there’ like the little bitch he is. Way to stay classy, Dave!
“BJ I can’t answer your question with any specific detail on this matter, but I can say that this is a typical tactic perfected by the environmentalists and used regularly by AR’s and radicals everywhere. It’s called the “Precautionary Principal” or in simple terms: You’re guilty until proven innocent. I’m sure you’re aware, is completely contradictory to the principals out Country was founded on. Unfortunately we’re seeing it more and more. They tie a business up in litigation while they spin their propaganda in an effort to discredit the effort and gain a strong hold for their position. More mob mentality.”
This was Holy Mother Manzella’s contribution to damage control. I’m still confused as to what this `typical tactic’ is that was used against their fearless leader? The truth? Shame on all of us!!!!! It seems to me that the person attempting to sell the facility didn’t have a clear title and whether or not Suey knew that or not doesn’t even matter. She wasn’t going to be able to open that plant for business any time soon since she didn’t actually OWN it in the first place. No anti-slaughter advocate intervention needed. Keep whining.
While the PSAs eagerly await for their fearless leader to rise from the ashes and make all of this untrue, the rest of the horse world grows tired of the never-ending stream of lies coming from the UH. Despite the hand wringing and rallying, they fail to realize that they can’t just snap their fingers and have USDA inspections in place overnight, nor is the USDA likely to hire and train any inspectors as long as the Moran Amendment is in play. It would be a huge waste of taxpayer’s dollars. They also seem to think the EU isn’t serious about the ID system they have mandated for July 2013 and that even if they began the process now, it still wouldn’t be up and running in time. They can argue semantics all day long and it won’t change those two facts. While word has it that Suey has turned her beady eyes on Oklahoma now, the outcome will not be any different. It’s long past time for the PSAs to suck it up and start looking at other options than slaughtering horses if they are genuine in their concern for animal welfare. At least those efforts won’t be in vain. Stay tuned everybody, Point and Laugh Friday is shaping up to be epic.
Truth is only hate speech to those who hate the truth.
Wow – now they are co-opting the Precautionary Principle for their own purposes? No, no. no………….The Precautionary Principle is a SCIENTIFIC or CRITICAL THINKING process, two terminologies that aren’t generally used in the same sentence with anything coming out of UH – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjaqM4yd_RA If UH or Slaughterhouse Sue were actually demonstrating the PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE in action, perhaps they’d refrain from oversharing anything they’ve got that is not factually derived……..oh wait……..
It’s like a dramedy that never ends!
Perhaps Davey and Theresa should address the message and not the messenger. Perhaps they should answer the legal documents which back up this press release and the great work done by Cynthia McPherson. The fact that they used the same derogatory statement about Cynthia, that Sue Wallis used about one month ago, really shows their level of ignorance and or the level of deceit they will stoop. One they were either too stupid to do the research and went with a tag line on google search instead of actually opening the link and reading a few paragraphs into the transcription to know the truth, the charges were made by a person who was already in trouble with the MO bar and was disbarred as a result. Or they purposefully, after reading it, ran with just the tag line as a way of hoping their followers are too ignorant to do any research for themselves, led to deceive and manipulate their own followers. Interesting things are coming out on the On the Fence FB page…. turns out many people who were initially on the United Horsemen Group FB page, don’t agree with Sue and her tactics and have left the group and or were deleted for speaking out against them. Now those people still believe horse slaughter should be an option…. but there is quite a bit of tarnish on Sue’s crooked halo, as a matter of fact, it’s positively black.
How funny if she gets run out of town by the horse eaters too! The reason I linked the article regarding MacPherson was to show just what sort of lying sleeze bucket Duquette really is.
While Ms Wallis and Mr Duquette continue to soldier on, apparently unaware or uncaring about their cartoon-esque public personas, their die-hard supporters are the ones who appear to be the biggest fools of all. Do they have any idea at all about how they are perceived by real horsemen?
It’s too bad they don’t invest their time and effort into real solutions since they proclaim to be the “experts” in all things horse. As for Wallis and Duquette, why don’t they work on getting their fabulous “rescue and rejuvenation” program up and running now while they’re waiting to open their shiny new slaughterhouse? You know, since they’re *so* worried about the welfare of those “starving and neglected” horses.
Right. Didn’t think so.
The only thing they want to do with starving and neglected horses is to fatten them up so they can butcher them too.
Rescue and rejuvenate = fatten them up for slaughter. I have to wonder, whether Sue & Dave are delusional but believe their own lies, or if they are fully cognizant that it ain’t gonna happen and just stringing people along so they can continue the charade and collect people’s money as long as possible. Sounds like donations are down as more people lose confidence and begin to see the forest through the trees.
I can’t even find UH listed on guidestar as a 501c3. That may not mean anything, but every other listed non profit I have had no issue finding.
They keep throwing it against the wall but nothing is sticking. The trouble is it keeps hitting the fan.
I truly am eager to see what she has to say about all of this.
I’m sure Slaughterhouse Sue will come up with an answer that is it truly spectacular in it’s utter absurdity. She gets better with every defeat. Personally, I can’t wait.
I’m sure it will be preposterous and entertaining if nothing else.
She said it ain’t so! Everything is fine on Slaughter Alley and “As Dave said, desperate attempt by inept small town lawyer looking to keep her HSS check….” Something about sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll, I think. (Of course, you are all aware that the attorney they are talking about, Cynthia MacPherson was completely exonerated of the charges and her accuser lost his law license. So……….)
Well, anyway, everyone on UH heaved a sigh of relief and said something unintelligible under their breath about AR nut wings – Oh yeah! and someone said RT better watch it or he’ll end up in court.
They all prayed on it, cut off a chicken’s head after running a stick over its eyes, and said it was so. (Or, something like that.)
LOL! funny but sadly accurate for that group
Love that analogy! Perfect!
Top Ten Suggested Excuses for Sue Wallis on her most recent FAIL in Rockville:
1.) The plant was declared a religious shrine after several Catholics discovered the image of the Virgin Mary on one of the cattle ramps.
2.) Rockville has been threatened by animal terrorists: the town is living in fear for their lives.
3.) Anything using the terms “AR’s”, “HSUS”, or “PETA”
4.) The slaughter plant will be needed for filming a TV series titled “Hillbilly Hare Killin’ ’” after the residents of Rockville decided that instead of horse slaughter, they would launch a new reality show inspired by Rockville resident, Sherlene Mott who proclaimed “What’s the difference? Cows, horses, rabbits, butcher something; we don’t care.”
5.) Be sure to mention “AR’s”, HSUS, and PETA repeatedly.
6.) Smithfield/Con Agra outbid our offer on the property. They will slaughter hogs instead of horses, but hey – who can ever get enough pork?
7.) We have received a *much* better offer to come to Oklahoma – they made us a fabulous deal we couldn’t refuse so we pretty much kicked Rockville to the curb. (we do not see horse slaughter being illegal in Oklahoma as a significant problem to opening a horse slaughter plant there)
8.) There are simply not enough residents in Rockville to fill all the fabulous job openings our plant would offer — and there will be lots and lots of fabulous jobs.
9.) Did you mention “AR’s”, “HSUS” and “PETA”?
10.) Since we have so many other fabulous sites for our horse slaughter business, we have decided to deed the Rockville plant to our friend, Mindy “Puppymill” Patterson and her “Calgary Group” who will be using the facility for Sunday revival meetings and community knitting bees.
LMAO!!! I’m in tears I’m laughing so hard. It’s perfect!!!
Too funny! Even funnier, your list will undoubtedly make a whole lot more sense than anything they come up with.
LOL!
I get these comments by email and usually delete them after I read them. THIS though – this is a KEEPER!

WHEN will this woman EVER learn? Or is she capable of it? I just wish her and her insane supporters would GO AWAY! Maybe then we can all start focusing on the horses in need in our country. I for one just do NOT have the time to spend hours upon hours, days even debating their insanity. What’s the point? They have NO grounds to stand on. If they want jobs, they all should go into health care. THE END
She says that all of this is not true and they are `full steam ahead’ in Missouri.
That’s what Captain Smith said right before the Titanic hit the iceberg.
She’s crazy as a Betsy Bug too. Living in La la Land. A land that SHE created in her head. Pipe dreams. That’s all she’s got.
you know slaughterhouse sue looks like she might make a nice meal for anyone so inclined to a little porque.
ICK!
[…] a month ago, I wrote about Slaughterhouse Sue’s problems in Missouri.( https://shedrowconfessions.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/slaughterhouse-sues-shame-in-missouri/) The gist of it was, that Ole Suey is not as ready to go into business in Rockville, MO as she […]
