Wow!! Time sure flies when you’re marching towards the end of the world, if those Mayans are to be believed. It flies even faster in the land of the profoundly stupid that our PSAs inhabit. It’s truly a wonder that they even find time to abuse their animals with all the drama and online antics they regularly engage in. Several are currently in the running for our Sunday feature as of this writing. They just keep giving and giving! Please remove all liquids from the vicinity of your computer, because it is once again Point and Laugh Friday. This week’s version is brought to you by the letter `A’ for asinine.
It would seem the body slam of no horse slaughter in New Mexico has taken the wind out of Slaughterhouse Sue’s sails this week. As with any other time she is proven to be a complete liar, it is assumed that she has retreated to her lair to pen nonsensical poetry using the blood of beloved family pets. You would think she would be used to this by now. Perhaps the lack of Bute and Clenbuterol tainted meat in her diet has caused her to feel weak and unmotivated. We can take comfort in knowing that she has kept Douchebag Duquette close by to comfort her. His big contribution to the conversation on the UH Facebook page was “…”, as he bumped his pathetic blog entry to the top yet again. We get it D-bag, Suey promised you a job killing horses with all the free pink slime you can eat and you are proud of your entire two blog posts. It is rumored that he has spent the rest of his week in assless chaps and a gimp hood serving Suey pork rinds and filing the corns off her feet with a rasp. No need to thank me for that visual being burned on your psyche.
After last week’s meltdown and bastardization of scripture, Holy Theresa Manzella must have felt the need for more validation than she normally gets from her kitties so she decided to post up video links of the one passably nice horse she has ever had that didn’t end up as road pizza. Naturally it was met with widespread disinterest. I guess even PSAs aren’t all that into watching a reining pattern ridden by somebody that rides like Jabba The Hut all dressed in white. *gag* Maybe all three of the UH supporters can show up at her Willing Servants Rescue for Slaughter fundraiser on September 1st. I wonder if she’ll be serving horse burgers at the concession?
After she wore out her welcome even while being moderated, I decided to leave Daffy’s comments in the spam folder for now. She is STILL an avid reader of this blog and still feels the need to leave me love notes when I displease her, which is often. She clearly does not feel the need to devote much time cleaning her house, looking after her horses or paying attention to her spawn as her online activities are nearly impossible to keep up with. I’m just not going to allow her to use this blog in her chain of neglect right now. Besides, I’m not sure how much more of her moronic lies I can take.
This brings us nicely to Mendy Tobiano. It seems she is still selling off her
hoard herd. It’s like she had some bottomless pit of horses or something. I still pray they all get happy homes and have a better life than they have known thus far. Mendy Tobiano also continues to air her personal drama for all to see. Maybe she is hoping to get a guest spot on Jerry Springer or something. I hear that’s a paying gig. Also this week, the NT blog had revealed the big surprise she had promised. She upgraded from the free blogger site and still nobody cares. Since NT has repeatedly been shown up to be completely and totally ignorant in the slaughter issue, the focus seems to have switched to blogging about all the lawsuits that Mendy has had filed against her. So far, she has only posted up the ones she allegedly won, but even her compadres at the bat cave have come down on her for being an idiot the past week. She posted up the picture of one of her students, all but airborne on the poor horse’s back, to major critisism, prompting her to remove the post all together. Then as NT, she posted up a blog entry about yet another lawsuit against her and one of the others posted this:
“Holy fucking shit! I’m not sure who’s the bigger douche in this story. The barn owner for allowing this deal to go down, contract or not.
The trainer for allowing a green broke horse to go to a known rookie family.
Or,the rookie family for sighning a contract on a known bucking green horse.
This entire story reeks of stupidity on every angle possable. It’s stories like this that fuck up an entire industry.”
Mendy is currently not speaking to this PSA. Also, to prop up the NT blogs, Mendy decided to share as herself and embellish yet another lawsuit of hers:
“I was sued by a boarder when a police horse boarded with us reached out and bit her. It got ridiculous because she smacked the horse and that was caught on our barn surveillance system and she was arrested for “assaulting an officer”. That’s when I got named in the lawsuit. It was a huge mess.”
I’m going to have to wave the bullshit paddle on that story. I believe she got sued as she has many times before, but I hardly think somebody would get a felony charge for `assaulting a police officer’ for hitting a horse out in the field. Not to mention the fact that I have serious doubts that the police force would be boarding anything on her dry lot where she has had numerous complaints filed with animal control against her. I’m a sceptic like that. If you’re going to lie to boost your self-esteem, at least make it believable.
I was just about to wrap up this blog entry and I got momentarily bombarded with an attack of the Stupids. It seems my post earlier in the week has ruffled a few feathers. Because they are slow on the uptake, it only registered with them today that they were put in a less than flattering light. You know, when I was a youth and rode under a coach, one wall of our indoor arena was mirrored. No matter how great of a ride you thought you were having or how awesome it felt, that mirror was always a brutal reality check. I would like our PSAs to think of posts like the one they are so mad about just like that. (https://shedrowconfessions.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/psas-and-their-ponies/) The latest few comments on it are quite funny.
Today our PSAs held yet another conformation clinic. This time one of their younger members posted up a pick of her mare for critique because she is thinking of breeding it and wanted honest opinions. I’m going to go on record as saying pretty is as pretty does, but that does not mean you need to make more of them. I’ll post a picture of the horse, then I’ll tell you what I think and the `critiques’ of our PSA experts after.
I see a horse with a shoulder so straight you could lay a level on it. She is also steep hipped and long pasterned. Given that she is light of bone as well, this horse likely wouldn’t stand up to hard use. Her hocks are posty and her neck ties in too low with a thick throatlatch. For a mare, she is not feminine enough for my tastes. She certainly isn’t built to get in the ground. Like I said, she may be an awesome riding horse but she doesn’t need to make more like her when they cry about horses getting no bids at auction. Here is what our `experts’ say:
“Nice shoulder, decent hip, pretty short back, nice neck, her head isn’t very feminine but I wouldn’t call it coarse either. I like her pastern angles (: I would like to see a little bigger hip/butt…however, that’s just my personal preference.”
“If she was in working shape she would look damn good in my opinion. Kinda hard to judge when they soft like that. That being said,I would ride her any day.”
“I would only really fault her in her bone. I would like to see more bone size on her. Other than that… it’s little picky stuff… prettier head (but you don’t ride that) and more muscle tone…. I wouldn’t ever let her get too heavy and I wouldn’t use her for jumping… but a nice all around mare for sure!”
So ends another week with the PSAs. I know this should be getting to be old hat by now, but I am constantly gobsmacked about the collective stupidity and ignorance of this group of people. When I ask how stupid can they be, they take that up as a challenge. The astonishing lack of self-awareness coupled with their unfounded self-esteem constantly amaze me. They truly are the train wrecks of the slaughter debate. As for the rest of you….thank you for the emails, the great comments and your unflagging efforts to educate people with the facts needed to lay this horrible threat to all horses to rest. Keep up the great work. Enjoy these dog days of summer and don’t forget to hug your horses. They’re the reason we all do what we do.
