Annnd we’re back. Kinda. I hope everybody had a most excellent Christmas, Kwanzaa or whatever it is you celebrate or observe. Sadly, that was not the case for the horses at HiCaliber as the deaths and executions continued without hardly a pause. However, we’re going to deal with all that at another time aka next time-ish. I need to pull a few more things together and you know…holidays and all. What I do have for you today is a guest post and I think it’s going to carry some punch as the horses and situations mentioned are going to be familiar to many of you. As always, I have much respect, gratitude and admiration for those that choose to come forward with their personal accounts. I know with the current climate surrounding this issue, the blowback isn’t always fun to deal with. Still the more people and organizations that step forward, the less the impact of the bullying and targeting done by HiCaliber Village Idiots. Please take the time to check out these organizations that come forward and see the very important work they do without the dramatics and grandstanding. Rescue as it is meant to be. As always, I’m going to turn things over and let our guest poster tell things in their own words. I’ll be back with y’all in a few days for a year-end wrap up and business as usual. Happy New Year!

I am from S&S Finally Loved Horse Rescue, in Calimesa, CA and this is my account of interactions with HiCaliber. We did a few little rescue things in conjunction with HiCaliber, a couple yearling ponies from Misner that we picked up at Ontario Auction. At the Ontario Auction, the co-founder of S&S went to meet Romney to pick up a couple of ponies, HiCaliber was getting the others. I believe there were six in all. We got a cute little POA with a congenital sway back and a little bay charro branded “gelding” who turned out to be an ungelded colt sometime later. These were purchased directly from Misner. The day we got them was the same day the gelding was put in the pen with mares and broke his humerus (leg). Romney went on video stating “the vet is on the way, meds have been given, etc.” The problem is Sandy was there and well, that never happened. No meds had been given and that horse was shot, twice. Sandy cannot say by whom as she didn’t see it, but Romney did. Sandy heard the first shot, turned to Romney and said “What the F&*% was that?”, no answer and then a second shot rang out, Sandy asked again or yelled rather, “What the F%$# was that?!” She loaded our two ponies and got out of there and relayed the information back to me. That was when we knew something was going on and this is before they publicly announced they were shooting horses.

Next, one of my volunteers, myself and my daughter went down to pick up a pregnant Arabian mare named Moira. Michelle admittedly doesn’t like babies or ponies. They stated that this mare was preg checked when she came in, several months before but that it must have been missed because she was just bred and they said she had just started showing. She had not just started showing but Michelle was advertising that she was still rideable for several months yet and it would not hurt her to be ridden as it was early in her pregnancy. She foaled less than 2 months after we got her, which puts her at about 9 months pregnant, which means she was at least 4-5 months pregnant when they got her. Any vet preg checking her would have been able to palpate and feel a foal, leading us to believe the “every mare gets preg checked” to be a lie. Among other things. Anyway, we get there to pick up Moira and they had mentioned a little pony named Carly as well as a possible “rescue transfer”. Well, we get there and there is no Michelle in sight but we were impressed by the large stately house and the fact that the road there is long, narrow (one lane at one point) very steep hills and tight turns. Not easy for unstable horses at all to travel. We get there and a group of volunteers approach us, never asked who we were but when we mentioned we were supposed to pick up the pregnant Arabian mare they happily said, are you going to take more? I have a decent size three-horse gooseneck and we replied “If you have some in need, we could take one more and that Carly had been mentioned to us too.” They grabbed Carly (super underweight as well, about 100 pounds and she is very small framed, about 11 hands and a Hackney pony) and Moira and tied them to the trailer. Okay, we have two, cool. Well then they tell us, Michelle hates ponies and there are two down in the far pasture, would you take them too? Okay, let’s take a look, well one was about 150 or more pounds underweight, about 14 hand Arabian and the other a pretty little white mare that looked like someone had cut her mane into a shorter English look-alike. It took them awhile to catch both as there were probably 35 horses in the pasture running as a herd but eventually they did and we knew we couldn’t leave them with volunteers begging us to take them. They asked if we could take more but 4 horses (3 pony size yes) in a 4 horse was pushing it. We loaded up and headed out. Once we got in the truck and on our way down the road it occurred to us that no one had asked who we were, no one verified our identity and Michelle was no where in sight when volunteers were throwing horses into our trailer and we did not even know all the names of our horses that we got from them.
Elsa aka Roo intake at HiCaliber
Roo (formerly Elsa) arrival at S & S
Roo recently
When we were getting onto the road Sherri yelled for me to stop. It is too hard to stop on the hill and get started with no momentum so I could not risk it. What she had seen was a tarp (blue) with multiple horses underneath. We had heard rumors they were shooting horses but never confirmed it, but this left us both with a chill down our spine and a new-found need to save as many as possible from the bullet.
Lilly aka Parma arrives at S&S
Lilly leaving S&S after being adopted
Fast forward to getting home uneventfully to actually get them out and look them over, all were thin, two very underweight. All of their feet needed done and one of the grey mare’s (Now named Roo) had a gash in her cheek that opened in the trailer that was pretty deep. We called the vet and she said she would come first thing in the morning to look them over. Roo’s face wound was pretty old, our vet said it should have been sutured when it happened but since it had not been it was too late. The others were noted as needing weight, feet too long and teeth all needing done. In fact the little mare Roo, who they had over a year, our vet believed had never had her teeth done which is sad seeing as she aged around 12 years old. We get them all taken care, get a feed plan in place and our vet also said our pregnant mare Moira was in her third trimester and to get ready for a baby. We did and set her up in a foaling stall. We also repeatedly asked for vet records for the four we got with no response. Now we know why, vet paperwork does not exist.
Pippin intake at HiCaliber
Pippin after about six weeks at HiCaliber
Pippin first day at S&S
The following weekend we get a call, “Dana is on her way with two more for you, the ones you agreed to take last weekend”. Well Sherri nor I remember that conversation but at the same time after seeing the condition of the horses they had the longest there is no doubt, get them out. Dana arrives with her trailer, in the front is a little paint pony mare and in the back is a feral approximately yearling that is matted up and has a nylon halter tied on. We ask her again if she can get us the vet records for the four we got the previous weekend and these two. She states the volunteers are afraid of the yearling as she is aggressive. She was fearful but let me unload her and get her in the stall with no issues, then a wonderful 70-year-old volunteer of ours had her halter broke in a week, proving again that they did not know what they were talking about. Next, we ask about the paint pony mare as it looks like she has a skin condition, Rene says she does not know but will ask Michelle. We never heard back but searched their page and found out the were washing her with chlorhexadine wash. Problem is, that was scar tissue. This particular mare, Valentina, has a horrendous fly allergy and was being eaten alive and itching herself on every available surface. She was suffering so badly but a fly allergy injection, fly sheet and mask and we had a pretty happy girl. Our other little girl, Pippin, grew into an amazing beautiful red roan filly who is to die for, from matted mess with the same nasty auction halter tied on her face for 45 days to a blossoming beauty. It is what it is all about.

Val’s scar tissue from fly allergies

I wish I was done, but sadly I am not. There is something every horse we have received from them have in common. They are all food aggressive, all of them. We can only imagine that is because they were never fed consistently or there was just never enough. I can happily report that they are all now at a good weight, have shiny coats. Moira and the little white pony mare we named Lily were adopted in the same home with Moira’s bouncing baby boy Tony (named affectionately after our amazing farrier who goes above and beyond for our horses). Roo, Carly, Pippin, Valentina, Sissy (swayback POA pony) and Charlie (Bay pony gelding) remain with us available for adoption. They will never have to fight for a meal, go without or know that they are disposable in a kill model shelter style “rescue”. All have thrived and are just waiting for their people.
Pippin today
We also received three LA mares and their foals from that fiasco. We couldn’t say no again. The only funds that followed were 500 dollars for the three mares and three foals I just mentioned. No other money followed the horses we received, even though they were fund raised for and our vet and farrier could not see where a penny of the “responsible rescue” money had gone given their deplorable state that we received them all in. We did not want to speak out, did not want to be associated “hating” or giving ourselves a bad name but in all honesty it is time for the silence to be broken. No lies have come out of our rescue, only truth and it is a sad truth with the horses suffering at the hand of a “rescue”.
Ho! Ho! Ho! @$%#! I thought I had wished you good people a Merry Christmas and we agreed to reconvene here at some point after Christmas. Apparently Manson did not get that memo because here we are again and I, for one, am not amused. I should have known better than to think they could back away from the drama bar for a few days over the holidays. So, because I don’t feel like carrying this forward for a week or so and because I’m so sick of the drama, let’s talk about Clare before we say her name, because oh my, my, this situation is convoluted even for Manson. Buckle up!
For those of you that haven’t already guessed, we’re going to talk about Clare and her untimely demise today. As you can see from her listing, she’d been at HiCaliber for nearly two years and despite being diagnosed with `dropped pasterns’ by the 30% vet and conformation expert, they claimed she was 100% sound. I’m not going to go for the obvious burn about her weight restrictions and the fact that Manson had been riding her. I’ll leave that up to imaginations. For most people who have been following the trainwreck that has become HiCaliber, Clare hasn’t really been on the radar. You would be hard pressed to find anybody that asked after her much and other than a brief video in June where they advertised her as a pasture puff, she wasn’t part of regular updates or one of the `chosen’ who got used in parades or trail rides. It was probably because of her `dropped pasterns’ and the fact that it doesn’t appear there is a single person on that ranch that knows how to run a polo or tracer bandage to support them while you ride or even put on an SMB properly or at all. Anyhow, that’s the background on Clare as we know it.
Flash forward to yesterday and Clare was about to be euthanized and it’s all the `hater’s’ fault. Manson spun this story of catastrophic chest trauma while she was turned out in the arena when they evacuated some of their horses to Del Mar two weeks ago. Remember that everything is always somebody else’s fault in the world of HiCaliber. Because of a `hater’ Clare `crashed’ two weeks after her night in the arena. What has followed since that post was made has been a massive clusterfuck of deception and deletions. Before I get into all that, I think it’s appropriate to look at a few video clips I have featured before. For those of you watching on a mobile device, just click the image and they should play.
In this clip she talks about the permit and that because haters have made her get one, she’s going to have to reduce her numbers aka `clean out the herd they have’, to get down to the number she’s permitted to have. This include horses that they deem `minimally adoptable’ and refers to those horses as hayburners. I wonder if that included a horse like Clare, who had sat there for two years without being adopted and was consider a pasture puff?
The three clips above is some footage of the HiCaliber horses in the arena at Del Mar taken by a volunteer. These are the people who gave of their time to get those horses out with no questions asked. It wasn’t their responsibility to stay there all night with those horses. I would think the head of the rescue or one of the team leaders, anybody in charge, would be the ones that would stay with the horses to make sure they settle and nobody gets hurt.
It seems while Clare was being `fatally injured’ all the HiCaliber honchos were snuggled up back at the ranch working that live feed like the rent was due. Actually, it probably was but that’s another story for another time. Amanduh and Romney Faye came at you live from their backs. Romney Faye was doing her trademark huffing, puffing and guzzling water, while Amanduh was sucking back a beer apparently. Oops, I mean her IPA, please send some. How else are you going to kick it after a hard day’s grifting? Meanwhile Manson was looking remarkably unscathed for somebody that allegedly just evacuated 97 horses from imminent faux danger. I comment on this because I have had to evacuate horses from fires twice before and both times I was not sitting there with my hair done and my make-up and nails in tact after the fact. I was cleaning soot out everywhere for days and looked like I was drug through a hedge backwards, not to mention coughing up junk and I don’t even smoke. At any rate, it would seem that none of them were sufficiently concerned about the safety and health of the horses at Del Mar to feel the need to be there in person to supervise them. In fact, from many reports there was some chaos with the paperwork as the haulers showed up with the animals.
I’m not going to rehash everything that was in the previous post. To make a long story very short, it is said that somebody, a `hater’, phoned Delmar to tell them HiCal had a strangles outbreak. It could have been more than one person, I really don’t know. What we do know is that Manson called Del Mar and told them she needed an isolation situation for their horses. So, let me paint the broad strokes for the village idiots that I know read here religiously. You’ve got a major disaster on your hands and you’re the stable man on duty. Horses are coming in from all over, some severely injured and burned, and the fire is spreading. Imagine the number of calls that guy was dealing with. One or two calls out of how many about maybe strangles was probably just a blip on his radar until the head of the rescue herself phones and says she needs an isolation barn. All of a sudden, you might realize there is an issue that needs more attention, so, because you don’t want to turn anybody away, you compromise and put them in a massive arena until it can be sorted out or somebody in charge from the rescue shows up in person. Nobody told them to turn all the horses loose together. They could have easily tied those horses up and stayed with them until it was all sorted but they, alone, chose not to. I’m guessing this was all done by phone considering the people in charge were all home and tucked in for the night already. That’s not even taking into account that they were never under evacuation order at all. Anyhow, the above clip is the morning after when the horses were all in their stalls and Amanduh takes people around the barn area and repeatedly says how they are all fine and doing great.
If you watch no other clip on this post, please watch the one above. This is Liz introducing Clare three days after the alleged fatal kicking incident. As you can see, Clare appears just fine and there is no mention made of her being injured. This was part of a video where they went around and introduced all their adoptable horses at Del Mar. To make this crystal clear for the village idiots who seem to have reading comprehension issues, they evacuated the night of December 7th. The video from Amanduh stating that everybody was `fine’ was from the following morning as they were settling into their stalls. The clip of Clare was from December 10th. Now, I’m not even a 30% vet but I would think that if there was enough `chest trauma’ that she ended up dying from it, she might have been showing some signs of discomfort or swelling by then?
Clare in her stall at Del Mar
Remember how Manson mentioned that she had some animal communicators working on their horses when they were at Del Mar and one of them said that Barry Boi had told her he wanted to stay at HiCaliber and belong to her daughter? Manson put so much credence in that info that she made a post and raised some funds so that her kid could have Barry Boi for Christmas even though she still plans to shoot him in the face in a few months. It seems like that same communicator `spoke’ with Clare a few times both at Del Mar and back at HiCaliber when the horses returned to the ranch.
Clare at HiCaliber after the trailer accident
Poor Virginia. I think she really did mean well, but without knowing better tossed The Manson Family right under the bus. She did attempt some damage control and even made a donation after her posts were deleted but `haters’ are quick draws on the screen shots if nothing else. Let me break things down for everybody. She states that she worked on the mare Monday because she was off her feed. No mention of any chest trauma or injuries that might cause her to be off her feed were made by Virginia despite spending hours with her and `communicating’ with her enough for Clare to tell her she didn’t want to be ridden and wanted to be an animal communication teacher instead. Clare never told her chest hurt, but Barry Boi mentioned his neck was sore. I realize many people don’t believe in this kind of thing and I’m not sure I even do, but Manson does when it’s convenient for her and that’s the important thing to remember here. There is even a picture of Clare’s altered anatomy back at HiCaliber after the accident in which you can see the swelling over her withers that wasn’t apparent at Del Mar.
I’m really not sure why they want a written statement of this. I kinda read it like there was nobody in charge and nobody there from HiCaliber to give direction or oversee the arrival of these horses. I would think that would be fairly important given the dueling live feeds howling about the risk their horses were at and asking for money to sue the haters.
These might be my favorite screen shots from the village idiots in this little drama and they are only a sampling from this person. She has been working overtime between all different HiCaliber dedicated Facebook groups and she’s never all that informed. I think she works on the gazillion rule or something. The best part of all of this is when HiCaliber has to admit she’s lying. It’s pretty illustrative of how the village idiots just run with their own version of events because they must deflect blame from their cult leader at all costs.
These are a little sampling of the village outrage. I find it funny that vet students under supervision offended our 30% vet so much. What exactly were they hiding? If I had a horse that was severely injured, I’m thinking I would have taken the help. However, we know Manson likes to do the vet work herself kinda like when she diagnosed Breezy with salmonella when he actually had a pneumonia and told his owners that’s what his blood work showed when it actually takes a culture to diagnose salmonella. I gotta wonder if Clare hasn’t spent the last two weeks in extreme discomfort while Manson played doctor on her.
This wasn’t the only pushback that this whole mess has created either. HiCaliber has trouble filling the feeding and watering schedule but they do manage to have admins parked online 24/7 ready to ban and delete anything that might cause cognitive dissonance within the cult or create an outburst of independent thought. God forbid.
Does anybody have the over/under on if we’ll ever see that necropsy report? I have a feeling Manson is furiously googling so she can make this sound official. Protip for Manson: you’d know by now why she died if it was due to blunt force trauma. My question is, if you knew the mare had been kicked in the chest two weeks ago, why did it take her two weeks to crash? What treatment has she had in the meantime? May as well show the receipts now, because that will be the first thing they ask for if it goes to court.
Yes, Manson is devastated. So devastated that she was spotted in Old Town on a date yesterday snuggling up to some old guy. Normally I don’t care what she does in her personal time, but don’t hammer that sympathy button and let people think she’s crying in her shower over this horse because it’s simply not true. The same day she posted that the mare had crashed and was going to be put down, she did a disturbing and vulgar live feed with her kid without so much as a hint of upset. I hate bringing kids into things but anybody that has seen Manson’s daughter on live feed knows that kid has no filter at all and would likely have spilled something. Manson posted that Clare was so loved by her son, but if you watch the video of them from back in June, the kid asks which horse he is sitting on. Why the manipulation?
I’m sure this drama will continue to unfold over the coming days. While the village throws money at Manson to `sue the haters’ they conveniently forget that all that money from Giving Tuesday has hit their bank account by now. What exactly is she going to sue for? I am deeply saddened and sorry that mare died, but she had been there for two years and was relegated to `puff’ status which pretty much put her at risk for a bullet to the head going by what Manson herself has said recently. What was her value? Then you have the burden of proof which is heavy. If that horse died from a kick to the chest, and that’s a bit of a stretch, NOBODY told them to evacuate and while many of us have said it was her call to make, the courts may see things differently. Also, you have Manson on video (yes, it’s saved) stating more than once that she called Del Mar to ask for an isolation situation for their horses, the admission of `sniffles’ aka sick horses on the ranch, and the inconvenient fact that nobody told them they had to turn those horses loose together. Perhaps those horses would have gone straight into stall if Manson had gotten off her ass and gone down there herself to deal with their paperwork and talk to people. She had a bunch of volunteers that had no direction from anybody. The other thing that completely boggles my mind about any of this is the village idiots all in faux mourning over this horse that was never even on their radar. Where was the outrage and sadness for Aviana who was perfectly healthy or over 90 others that have died this year? Gertie who died down there in the mud and they had to break her legs to drag her out of the arena. Why no mourning for her? Which one was it that had brain matter leaking out her nose? Sarah? No outrage there or ask for follow-up? For God’s sake if Manson endorses the kill on one they pretty much touch themselves aggressively and then have a smoke. The rest of us will continue to document these lies because she’s cried hater several times too many at this point. It means nothing anymore. Rest easy, Clare. #sayhername Merry Fucking Christmas.
Happy Holidays! It’s been some kind of a week dealing with the aftermath of the great recreational evacuation and donation drive that came about after the Lilac fire. So many threats and accusations are still getting tossed around. It’s a wonder Manson’s arms aren’t tired from all the time she spent up on the cross drumming up sympathy, and when that didn’t work, she searched around for our guilt buttons and pressed those relentlessly. Thankfully for me, I grew up in a Catholic family so my guilt button has been worn out for years due to overuse. Even though I’m a bit busy trying to pull my festive act together, I thought I’d drop a post so we can do a little holiday fact checking and keep on top of the latest ones that ran to heaven this week. I’m not big on egg nog, but by all means pour yourself some or whatever passes for holiday cheer in your household while we get down to business.
HiCaliber Finn at Del Mar with a snotty nose
Ok, let’s clear up the Del Mar drama and lies. Yes, as evidenced by the picture above, there were sick horses brought into Del Mar. The horse in the top picture is Finn, a long time resident of HiCaliber who lives out with a group of others. Apparently there was a paint mare also leaking snot all over the place. They did have a few horses that were said to have coliced on them, one being Manson’s personal horse, Daisy. The vets on hand at Del Mar apparently treated or looked at some of the HiCaliber horses but were promptly told not to and then this signage went up on all their stalls. That kinda makes me wonder why anybody would turn down a 100% vet offering to help out a horse. You’d especially think they’d have taken the offer of a free vet check considering how many horses they claimed were wounded due to the `haters’. Or were they? I’m sure no horse was hurt being doubled up in stalls or anything especially not when you put two one-eyed horses in the same stall in a strange place. Other horses were completely shut in their stalls so nobody could see them. Maybe there were hiding something? We do know Manson requested a shitload of medical supplies for herself. She actually asked for a lot of stuff and that lead to some head scratching.
As always, good Samaritans stepped up and brought truck loads of donations for all the horses evacuated from the fire and, some brought donations just for HiCaliber. What I think caused the drama is a lot of people didn’t understand HiCaliber’s need for feed and supplies given the fact that they lost nothing in the fires and were never stopped from returning to their ranch to pick up more supplies as needed. These were all horses that they would have had to have fed anyhow. Well, not all their personal horses. Seems like while Manson’s personal horses were at Del Mar, other residents of the feed lot evacuated their personal horses several hours prior to a different location. I’m not even sure what to make of that. Anyhow, back to donationgate, I think another part of the problem was how long HiCaliber kinda hung around Del Mar after the fact. There were people in serious need and yet there they were front and center snatching up donations and asking for more. Then, Manson tells us they were `cleared’ to go back to the ranch. Huh? Who clears people to go home that were never evacuated in the first place? It’s just all those little manipulations that add up to a con. To top things off, Manson rather than leave what they didn’t use or pay it forward, packed up every single thing, including cases of bottled water and took it home. When questioned on that, she chose to lie and throw another rescue under the bus that actually helped to evacuate horse for the training center. It’s just more of a display of character than anything else.
Speaking of donations… I know we have all seen a lot of not so subtle hints dropped by Manson. Poor thing only has $400 to spend on presents for 2 children. One kid needs a new saddle, the other adopted Barry Boi even though Manson still plans on shooting him in the face in a couple of months (when the kid loses interest), so villagers have offered to pay for cremation. It. Never. Ends. However, I do believe in fools having a right to throw their money at whatever they choose. I just thought this bitchy little post from Manson complaining about too many donations and too many parcels to open might be worth putting out there for anybody that might be sitting on the fence.
No wonder they’re bleeding volunteers lately. From what I’m told, when Manson is around at all, she rarely lowers herself to talk to random volunteers and this is the type of thing we see in the closed forums. Pick up her garbage, you screwed up doing her this favor, how dare you dump the mail on her doorstep…blah.blah.blah.
One of the parts I hate about writing this blog is having to list the dead. It feels like a loss every single time and since they rarely go one at a time, it haunts me to think of the second and beyond horses that are killed standing next to their dead buddies. The LAST thing I would do is make up more dead than there is. If these village idiots believe that Ace, Adagio and Treat are still alive, by all means ask on the HiCaliber page for an update on them. As far as Cotton goes, never once did I `announce’ that pony as dead. Nobody really knew WTF happened to him, so I put him on a milk carton to find out. You can read the post here. I’m glad I did because I received several emails telling me exactly what happened with the horse, which I wrote about here. Spoiler alert: Cotton appears to have been part of a scam. One of the readers here mixed up horses and erroneously wrote that Daphne had departed by Manson’s hand, but guess what? That wasn’t me and given how many horses are shot in a year at that place, it’s actually surprising more people don’t get mixed up.
Niel
Niel
Niel (yes, that’s how they spelled it) was an auction purchase last week. He didn’t have a great last few days being drug back to the ranch and executed. I can’t say one way or another whether Dr. Talbot ever saw him or if they did any diagnostics on him. Manson pretty much decided he was going to have to die from the outset. I find that strange given the fact that the perlino stud was much more sore and when people asked about euthanizing him she said that giving up was not in her vocabulary or something. Apparently `trying’ is also not in her vocabulary when a horse comes in a plain brown wrapper and has brown eyes RIP Niel, I’m sorry you didn’t land softly. #sayhisname
As we have come to know, it is very rare that Manson wastes a body pick up call on just one horse and this past week was no exception. Kringle was the other horse to take the tarp nap this week. Kringle had only been at HiCaliber a week but was marked for death immediately due to having melanoma’s under his tail like nearly every other gray horse over the age of 20. Although he appeared in decent health and weight, it was decided he didn’t have long so I’m thinking that once poor Niel arrived, that pretty much sealed Kringle’s fate. Besides, what feels more festive before Christmas than shooting a horse named after Santa right in the face? RIP Kringle. #sayhisname
The above two screen shots are for anybody that still wonders why they village idiots tolerate all these senseless shootings without having a vet sign off on them. Yup, all about the horses….
I know the Fice drama was so two weeks ago and he’s gone and hidden his posts finally, but it seems his name keeps coming up. The more viral his training videos get, the more Manson tries to distance herself from them. I think we’re supposed to conveniently forget he is an approved adopter and still has a HiCaliber horse with him in training according to him. I just wanted to set the record straight on why people call him a `HiCaliber trainer’. That would be because that’s what Manson has said in the past. She’s even gone to the village to raise money to pay him in the past. A person would have to be profoundly stupid to think that he’s nicer off camera to those horses. I think Mercy’s blind eye and Saban’s near death from a head wound might be proof of that.
So yeah, they’re not obsessed or anything and obviously all about the horses. Not a single word about proving me wrong or discrediting what I post, let’s just try to silence the blog and its followers because we’re causing massive cognitive dissonance within the village. Lately, they like to select certain posters on the comment section here and see if they can bully them into silence. It never really works. Ole Sheila is right though, Word press isn’t going to take the entire blog down without a court order because it falls under first amendment rights. Cindy has tried to have things taken down from this blog before to no avail. I don’t even usually like to acknowledge this crap, but it’s getting a bit ridiculous. I would LOVE to not have anything to write about and no Manson, I’m not losing any cred at all, trust me. She’s mistaking my irritation for nervousness or projecting her own issues onto me. Now for people who are concerned about threats (I don’t make them), they sure do like to talk about putting a noose around my neck a lot and threaten to punch us all in the throat. Not a single mention of the horses or anything, just threats and in their world I’m supposed to just allow all that to pass without commentary. Mostly I do, but since it’s Christmas I thought I’d throw them the bone of attention they so desperately crave. Just to make things clear, this is not me `sounding nervous’ or anything other than `meh’.
Remember when Manson was so in love with Satan she even stared morphing into her? She openly admired her business model and was an active member of Satan’s `tribe’. It seems that honeymoon ended with Satan’s outburst last week and now Manson is a hater. I don’t personally give a shit about Satan other than this is a pretty good example at how Manson turns on people. The only difference this time was that Satan also turns on people and threw her under the bus first. It’s also worth noting the poor cow collapsed on the background of Manson’s video and her referring to it as a `goddamn thing’. This would be the same cow that was left laying on their driveway for days and may still be there if he’s even still alive. The village idiots lost interest in him so updates aren’t as important.
Ok, let’s talk permit. Manson had this little rant last week once again blaming the permit issue on haters. That right, her not taking care of business is somehow the fault of everybody else AND since she can’t afford the proper permit for the amount of horses on that property (reported to be over 180 as of today), she’s going to go ahead and get the wrong one, which will only allow 100 horses, and just euthanize her way down to the right number so she can keep bringing horses in. Somehow we are supposed to suspend logic and believe that even though she can’t afford a one time fee to get the proper permit, she can afford to support upwards of 180 horses on less than 12 useable acres of land. How does that even begin to make sense? One of the problems many advocates have always had it the inevitable crash they see coming since her funding model is just not sustainable. Eventually, all these animals will have to be absorbed by other rescues and private parties and maybe that’s part of her plan. Maybe she feels like people will just let her do whatever rather than have to deal with the absolute shit show it would be should HiCaliber implode. Wrong, Manson. Horses first for most of us.
The death of Aviana seems to have been a tipping point with many people. Manson called her dangerous, unadoptable and felt completely justified in shooting a perfectly healthy horse in the head. Once again she blamed haters for not stepping up even though she had announced months prior that mare had gone to a sanctuary, meaning nobody really knew she was still there and on the death list. What is interesting in the video clip above is that she clearly states the vet never signed off on killing this horse and she is unapologetic about that. One of the main defenses all along was how the vet or the board signed off on every single euthanization at HiCaliber. She goes on to talk about how she doesn’t need a vet to tell her she can euthanize medical cases that are manageable but only minimally so by her standards. Keep in mind that her `standards’ are anything with blue eyes and/or will haul her fat ass around while she’s on live feed and cows.
Yeah, I’m hammering a point home. What Manson is forgetting is these horses don’t belong to her. They belong to the rescue and she doesn’t own the rescue. She may be the founder and hand picks the board, but she doesn’t own anything. That board could theoretically revolt and oust her should they ever grow spines or pull their collective head out of her ass long enough to form an independent and rational thought. I won’t be holding my breath on that one, but stranger things have happened.
Bev isn’t dead yet. I’m only posting her up here because she’s at risk and not just from that horrific bandage job on her, but because she’s OTTB and Manson can’t handle her. I realize she won’t adopt out to haters, but everybody knows somebody and this mare deserves to be really rescued. Manson lies and said she pulled DNA and then went on to say, oops, they already had her identified. Meanwhile we’re all still waiting for the DNA results from the Louisiana horses.
I thought I’d post some recent pics of the inmates . I’m sure the village idiots all think that big bloated belly look on the sushi foals is a good thing but the rest of us can realize it’s not. Also let’s not overlook the nylon halters to hang themselves with. Manson has recently laughed that Bento, the one on the right, likes to sleep with his feet through the rails, but is only really cast `sometimes’. The other horses with the knots in their mane, the too small fly masks rubbing them and standing there in piles of their own shit. Permit issues aside, they have too many horses to properly care for. Period. No foals should look like that and no horses should be living in those conditions even if it meets the minimal standards. This is NOT rescue. I can already hear the shrieking about what difference a wind knot in a mane makes. Well, presentation aside, it speaks of a lack of attention and handling. Perhaps had somebody that knew WTF they were doing took the time to work with Aviana consistently, she wouldn’t have been `behavioral’. Instead these poor animals languish in their cramped pens for days and weeks on end and then are expected to be docile and kind once somebody deigns to do the bare minimum of upkeep on them.
The above pictures are an adoptive home that was turned down by Manson. She’s constantly bitching that the haters never step up, so when this particular `hater’ did, she was denied because she’s a hater. I think we can all agree that living at a place like this would be a major upgrade for any HiCaliber inmate, but Manson won’t budge. Horses first, right?
One of the readers of this blog put together this t-shirt for a little fund-raiser. She will be donating the money to two rescues that she has already told me about. We have chosen not to put them on blast for obvious reasons. Of course the village idiots think it’s offensive and want to report it. Not sure why they want to report it, but their other big idea is to buy the shirts and deface them. Please do. Several small streams and all. Naturally we have Mags once again boasting about all the charities she donates to and me thinks she protests too much. Show us the receipts Mags or STFU. Actually, just STFU anyhow. Nobody cares. As for the rest of you, you can order these shirts at this link. It’s not meant to be enough to buy a horse or a new set of eyelashes, but maybe there will be enough to sponsor a trim or a bag of senior feed. Every little bit helps. Let them laugh all they want.
This is my bad because I was supposed to post this for everybody a few weeks ago. I apologize to he person that sent this in and the readers. It is important information. Now there is a case number and contact with the Veterinary Medical Board to reference for people moving forward. This is real action that makes a real difference and I thank the person that sent this in.
As I wrap this up, HiCaliber is back at auction to bring even more horses back to their feed lot. One is already declared a compassion pull by the 30% vet. The parking lot deals are happening. The village idiots have conveniently forgotten about the 10k or so they raised a few weeks ago on Giving Tuesday that should be released by now. Remember that didn’t count that week but was going to be for another week? Buying horses and shooting healthy ones to make room for more is not rescue. Manson freely admits to not being able to deal with Mustangs and yet she drags them home week after week. They clearly don’t do well with OTTBs yet they actively seek them out probably in hopes of tapping into that aftercare funding. Again, that’s not rescue. Pick out what you’re good at, if anything, and stay in your lane. That’s a big step towards rescue. Nobody can save them all ever and not every horse that they don’t buy ends up in the slaughter pipeline. I find their whining about the pipeline extremely disingenuous when she flat-out refuses to work towards ending it. She says she buys horses from kill buyers but won’t turn them in or work with other advocates. The argument is they’ll never catch them all so why bother, yet they `bother’ trying to buy them all. It just does not compute. I would think their time would be better spent on rehabbing and upgrading the multitude of horses they already have, but I guess that’s not sexy enough for the village idiots. They gotta be worked up into the heightened sense of arousal that only the last minute save can provide before they dig deep.
I want to wish all the people that read and contribute to this blog a very Merry Christmas. I can’t thank everybody enough for shining the light and caring about these animals. It’s sad that things have gotten so nasty, but that’s how you know you’re making the difference. I’m not here to force anybody into changing their minds. I’m here to pass along information as I get it. I will continue to do so regardless of the threats and bullying. My wish is that by this time next year, we have something different and infinitely more uplifting to talk about. There will always be those that choose to sweep, but the rest of us can lock arms and keep that light shining as long as it takes.
Wow. What a shit show this past week has been. I was all ready roll with the standard rescue version of Snopes that comprise many posts and then I don’t know what happened, but our favorite grifters shit their proverbial pants and all hell broke loose. I’m not even referring to the great clusterfuck that has been the fire sitch. They were well on their way to record-breaking fuckery before that happened. As much as I loathe everything HiCaliber is and stands for, there was some really bad behavior on both sides of the fence the past few days, so I elected to let the dust settle before putting this together. I’m nobody’s leader or moral compass, but I think facts are always important and that’s what I’m going to stick with. What anybody does with them is their deal, not mine. With that being said, we have a LOT of ground on this post from saying names, to busting myths and lots in between. So, gather round, get comfortable and I suggest you wear protective head-gear. Things are about to get frustrating!
None of the horses in the pictures above are HiCaliber horses. Not a single one. They are horses that were evacuated from the fires, many with severe burns and injuries. I’m posting this for a little perspective on what people are actually dealing with. It doesn’t matter if it’s a million dollar racehorse or some kids beloved pony, they are all sentient beings deserving of safety and shelter. There are so many horses coming from all over, any sort refuge from the fire will do given the alternative. I hope this is crystal clear for everybody before we move on.
As everybody knows by now, HiCaliber elected to join the fray and evacuate the ranch. This was only after Manson made sure personal belongings and valuables were already removed because you know, oxygen on her first and all. I’m sure many were certain I was going to take her to task for evacuating the horses. I’m not. That was her call to make even though they were not given the order to get out nor were they ever at risk. Here’s the problem though; she’s told the county and all officials, that she had less than one hundred horses on that property so they were operating under that assumption. As you can see from the screen shot above, that was yet another lie. There were 175 head of horses that would have needed to be moved from that ranch and that is a HUGE problem and a game changer. Even on live feeds when people directly asked her how many horses were on the ranch she dodged answering that and her eye got lazy. That’s one of her tells. Rather than a growing nose, her eye goes lazy when she lies. Officials can only assess risk and advise based on the information that she provides. Let it all sink in…there were 175 horses to be moved from that property that only has one narrow and winding road in. That property isn’t meant to hold that many horses and this evacuation should be a big part of the reason why people start howling even louder about their numbers. For what it’s worth, they only moved 93 horses out according to sources. Was that because she was hiding the real numbers she houses or because of something else? It’s probably worth mentioning that Manson’s personal horses were some of the first evacuated. Oxygen!
I’m not sure if many of you are aware, but part of the permitting process is a fire plan. Manson has always maintained that they are a `shelter in place’ entity and that they have a dedicated engine. It didn’t make any sense to most people, but that’s been her stock response to those questions for awhile now. I don’t know if any of that was true or not because I’m not a firefighter or county official, not even 30% worth. So, while everybody watched in horror as SoCal started to burn to the ground, HiCaliber abused the shit out of the live feed function and did what they do best. They began to make this situation all about themselves. Nevermind that Rancho Padilla lost nearly every single horse, partially due to their own stupidity, and San Luis Rey Training Center was literally burning down around them as grooms and volunteers risked their actual lives trying to get horses safe and still lost something in the neighborhood of 45 animals. Manson saw an opportunity and she took it. Thankfully, I don’t know how a mind like Manson’s works, but I do know a UPS truck was making a delivery during one live feed so there must not have been too much danger close by at that point. One of her spawn remained at the ranch, so I’m hoping that meant she didn’t feel much of a threat, because what parent wouldn’t have their kid be the very top priority as far as safety? What was pretty awesome is that the horse community still responded to get horses safe regardless of their feelings for Manson and even though, by many reports, she was kind of a bitch to everybody, which included her demanding that a cripple horse get unloaded and left behind and freaking out because they weren’t getting that perlino horse on one of the first trailers out, along with her own horses. BTW, the screen shot I highlighted? Yeah, well it sounds like a great story, but Manson never moved to her old location until 2008 so nothing along those lines `happened’ to Manson at the former location in 2003 and 2007 because she wasn’t there.
So, with horses loaded and starting to arrive at Del Mar, the drama really kicked in to high gear. Apparently a `hater’ called and told them HiCaliber had strangles at their place, resulting in them being redirected to a very large arena to keep their horses separate. Now, I know lots of accusations have been thrown around, including pointed my way, so let’s talk about it. Yup, we’ve mentioned strangles in the comments here on this blog. HiCaliber does have sick horses on their property that have very snotty noses and swelling under their jaws. These are not recent auction horses, but ones that are in their training area that have been at the ranch awhile. That means there is not even a pretense of bio security around these sick horses. Manson herself admitted to horses having `colds’, before Romney Faye tried to play it off as `sniffles’. Horses do not get colds and sniffles. Horses get upper respiratory infections and viruses which are contagious. Keep in mind that there were and are horses at Del Mar that were pulled from burning barns and are suffering burns and wounds which puts them in an already compromised immunity situation. So, when Manson herself, phones up and demands an isolation barn, after some people may or may not have already called to voice their concerns about the herd health practices of HiCaliber, the Del Mar stall man decided to keep them apart from other horses. Can you blame him? Easy to dismiss anonymous calls, but when the boss of the rescue calls and wants isolation, you might just think there was something to those other calls. Just to be clear, they were never denied entrance nor were they turned back. Nobody was suggesting any horses were driven back into the fire zone despite what some village idiots are claiming. They were simply placed apart from other horses coming in until they could get things figured out.
Next it was time for Romney Faye to take her turn on live feed, complete with the usual huffing, puffing and guzzling water while in a recumbent position. Gross. In between yawning for the camera and almost slurring, Romney Faye told us all she was in her pajamas and was ready to go to bed. Apparently, she did take the time to goop on lots of mascara and eyeliner just on the off-chance she had to cry for the cameras. What she really did was beg people to wake up people in authority over `George’, call board members of Del Mar and threaten that their horses were all going to be fatally wounded. Remember, these were not ever horses in a mandatory evacuation zone so the only people that placed them at risk was themselves. With any evacuation situation, you get what you get as far as accommodation and you’re happy to get it. Not HiCaliber. They claimed they left all their quarantine horses at home along with the sick ones. Many of us noticed Michelle’s blue-eyed boy was in the mix. He for sure hasn’t been around the ranch for 30 days and before that, Manson had told everybody he’d been in 4 different auctions. Yet, she said he was cleared by a vet and that he might stress and crash. HUH? Then leave him HOME. I just can’t even with these people, but while I’m busy can’t evening, y’all can look at what the actual sitch was down at Del Mar….(those of you on mobile devices click on the pics to play )
It was very dramatic! All these horses looked pretty freakin happy to have room to move for a change and actually have water. They probably think they are heaven. What’s more, when things calmed down in the morning HiCaliber got their stalls and promptly started hoovering up all the free shit and donations they could get their hands on. Even though the fire never reached their ranch, they did not bother to bring their own feed or supplies. In fact, Manson quickly gave out a lengthy list of all things she claimed she needed including expensive clippers and staple removers. Not sure what that has to do with a fire, but I’m sure she’ll make out like the bandit she is. The other thing I noticed, aside from the fact that they were all so worried they went home to bed rather than stay and supervise the horses, was that there were no pictures of all these wounds and abrasions she claimed the horses got from being turned in together. Maybe she’s saving those for the lawsuit she is now begging for money to hire a lawyer for. The very idea of that has many advocates positively moist with delight. That would mean that the onus would be on Manson to prove everybody has been lying and she’d be compelled to open her books and hand over her records. If only she would!
Now that we know the horses were all safe, let’s talk about the very best part of all of this. That’s right, Pasterfuck and Mags, with a cameo from The Cannabis Queen, got all involved and, just as he promised, it was epic, although not in the way he intended. In fact, it was probably one of the most unintentionally funny live feeds I have seen in forever. My God! The chain-smoking, the attempts to sell puppies, one winged Margaret all hunkered down and cowering off camera as she told Pasterfuck what to say, talked over top of him and prompted him. The keeper puppy they inexplicably named after haters even looked embarrassed to be part of the festivities. Yup, epically funny! We were even treated to The Tonester raging a little bit and threatening to throat punch women and then threatening to have Marg beat up some others. Good times! I’m not sure what the point of all this was other than to get attention because they both kept saying they don’t support HiCaliber, but they are going to call out haters and mean girls and they’re also going to raise money so HiCaliber can sue everybody. Yes, a grown ass man talked about haters and mean girls. What was more funny is that he thinks nobody remembers a time when he was threatening and bad mouthing Manson and the rescue more than anybody and begging all these `mean girls’ for information.
So yeah, here’s a little light reading material when you need a good laugh. It’s also just a sampling of his previous anti-HiCaliber campaign. This would be the guy that Romney Faye thinks is a journalist with some pull at Del Mar. I can’t make this stuff up!
Let’s talk about The Cannabis Queen for a bit. For some reason, she also seems to enjoy inserting herself into drama. I find this odd given how much she protests. You know what else I find odd? The story of Conman.
Conman was one of the Fallen herd. By all accounts he was a super sweet horse. You can tell by the screen shots above how he met his untimely end. It sounded like a pretty shitty deal and a horrific accident in Maloree’s trailer that day. I’m not even really placing much blame because horses can get themselves into some bad situations at the best of times. The only reason I do bring it up is because Pasterfuck and his buddies on his poop page love to bring up somebody else’s misfortune when they lost a horse in a trailer wreck, including posting pictures of the aftermath of the trailer and placing a lot of blame. By the sounds of it Conman didn’t go easy or quickly, so I’m guessing the glass house adage may apply here.
The next thing I have to tell y’all is going to shock you. Manson wasn’t totally lying about the research stuff. I know it’s probably like hearing there is no Santa Claus, but in the interest in credibility, I gotta disclose the rare time she tells the truth too. Well, kinda. Her truths always come with a twist it seems. Yes, there was some stuff being done with balls and reproductive tracts to do with rhinos at the San Diego zoo. Dr. Barbara Durant is leading a study that has something to do with the reproduction of the Northern White Rhino. You can read about it here. It mainly talks about needing equine oocytes and that they buy those from In Foal Inc. in Hemet. There is no mention of HiCaliber. However somebody that appears to support HiCaliber, Nicole Ravida (link), is senior research coordinator at the zoo and responsible for some sort of `sperm atlas’. I have some ethical issues with a zoo harvesting rescue horses and neglecting to mention that fact if that is what is going on here. I really can’t think that they would be relying on the 30% vet and her bare hands and filthy surroundings to harvest their specimens for them. They mention paying In Foal Inc. for the oocytes, does that mean that they are also paying HiCaliber for their contributions and if so, will that be on their tax return if they ever do submit? The other ethical issue I have is that the last 7 horses executed at HiCaliber have all been mares. Is that a coincidence?
Speaking of reproductive things, Renley has turned up preggers. I find her due date particularly interesting because if she does, in fact, drop that foal in late January, the chances are pretty good that she got that way while at HiCaliber. It’s really not all that surprising given that they thought it was perfectly fine to put a cryptorchid, Techie, in with fillies for months. We’ve heard about another cryptorchid, Tonka, who frequently escapes and tours around the feed lot. It’s really not all that hard to imagine unplanned foals at all. It kinda sucks for the adopter and, as usual, Manson isn’t going to own any part of it. Sadly, Renley’s bun in the oven isn’t the only HiCal pregnancy we have to talk about today and the next part is gonna be a bit graphic, so I’m going to put a break between pictures and text so you can scroll on by if you want.
Poor Sunday. Her life has pretty much sucked since landing at HiCaliber back in May. We even featured her on this blog back in August. That was when we found outythat her foal, Treat, had turned up missing and presumed dead after she had been in foster. Sunday was an unhandled mare they picked up right around the time of the Louisiana debacle, so the village idiots kinda forgot about her as soon as they typed `saved’ under her begging post. She was returned to the ranch at some point and then placed on the $1 where she was snapped up not so long ago. Sadly, she lost a foal the other day and by the look of the fetus, it was estimated to be under 6 months old which also means Sunday became pregnant since coming into the possession of HiCaliber if that is true. I’m sad for this mare and I’m sad for her new home too. Nobody wants to find a dead fetus in a stall, especially when you didn’t know your mare was pregnant. I’m not sure what HiCaliber’s reaction to this was, but going be past patterns, I’m Manson is likely shifting the blame.
I guess while we’re on the topic of sad news ,we may as well talk about Calypso. She is the latest HiCaliber horse to `run to heaven’ by the hand of Manson. I wish I could tell you why, but I just don’t know. This wasn’t a mare they ever mentioned much although she was certainly eye-catching the odd time you caught a glimpse of her in the background of a live feed or something. It seems they couldn’t decide whether she was an OTTB or Appendix. I wouldn’t think that would have been difficult to ascertain by just flipping her lip but perhaps her pedigree was `fluid’ like so many other inconvenient truths at HiCaliber are. RIP Beautiful. #sayhername
While I do have some questions on why the recent mass killing of mares at HiCaliber, I don’t think the geldings are all safe now either. Manson has often insisted she wouldn’t euthanize a horse for space, but then she comes out with statements like she makes in the above clip. Do they all have countdown clocks on them as she morphs ,more and more into a high kill shelter?
As we know, Manson’s previous vets did not agree with her ideas on behavioral euthanasias and in her world, that somehow translates to them owing her money. In this clip she generously allows 100% vets their own feelings about some of her thrill kills, but then says they should discount her bill or sponsor horses if they don’t want to sign off on them. Kinda makes me wonder if their new vet, Dr. Talbot, is signing off on this recent killing spree or if he’s discounting a bill to keep Manson happy.
As you have probably surmised by now, Manson was on quite the roll about killing horses the other day. It’s basically her favorite topic. This was right after she got back from Texas looking like she stank of sweat and regret. Do you know what I smelled like after she made the above statement? I smelled like coffee because I huffed a bunch out my nose and all over myself as I started choking when she referred to herself as an angel of death. Angel of death? Really? Is she a 15-year-old goth kid? It just kinda shows what a fucked up thought process she has when killing all these horses. No Manson, shooting a perfectly healthy horse in the face that couldn’t mentally handle the conditions on your feed lot does not make you an angel of death or any sort of angel at all. It makes you a fucking monster. I suppose I should be happy she’s calling herself an angel of death now rather than the `sex kitten’ thing she tried to make happen last week. That particular outburst made want to die a little bit.
BarryBoi
Barry Boi with all their free stuff behind him
Fully embracing her death fantasies, Manson did a live hit from Del Mar with Barry Boi. Apparently her young daughter has fallen in love with him, but because he has a big knee, he’s making Manson’s trigger finger itch, so the entire video was Manson telling us how awesome Barry Boi is and how special because her daughter loves him and she normally doesn’t care so much about horses. She also tells us he has a big knee and sometimes he’s lame, but she’d like to get him into a hospice home for Christmas so her daughter won’t feel sad or guilty because Manson had her ride him when he was lame. The mind boggles. I know she lets the kids watch and help with her killing sprees, but FFS the kid loves this horse. Manson has no less than 8 of her own horses and then there are all the other residents keeping horses there for free. Would it kill her to let the kid have her horse there without threatening to shoot him in the face before Christmas? Manson is truly a blackhearted slattern. Another fun feature of the video is the complete mess the HiCaliber area of the barns seems to be and all the donations they’ve snatched up strewn about in the background. Apparently they didn’t get the memo that shit tubs are for cleaning stalls with and not patio furniture and end tables.
All joking aside, this next clip truly pissed me off. I don’t care that she’s too cowardly to name Satan since Satan turned on her. That’s who she’s referring to as `your friend’. What I care about is her numbers. Hundreds of thousands of horses shipping every day??? I have posted the recent stats of horses shipping to slaughter to Canada and Mexico above. As you can see they don’t even hit one hundred thousand for the year on each border and these numbers are for all borders. Remember, it’s still illegal to ship horses for the purposes of slaughter in the state of California, but Manson chooses to protect the very people that do ship horses. Not very anti-slaugherlike behavior, but neither is eating medical waste from horses. By pulling these large numbers out of her even larger ass, she is creating a sense of urgency that she knows full well will inspire more donations and blind defense from the village idiots. The actual truth of the matter is that Manson knows very little about horse slaughter other than the fact that it repulses a lot of people and it’s a great hammer to hold over an horse’s head when she’s attempting to emotionally blackmail some money out of people.
One feature of a few live feeds lately has been Manson whining about being associated with Andrew Fice’s antics and me posting that video of him tormenting a mustang and calling him a HiCaliber trainer. She’s so pissed about it she was telling her village idiots to try to get it pulled down. As always, she lied and said that Fice isn’t their trainer but had only fixed a few horses for them. I believe the term `saved their life’ was thrown about in that as well. I think most of us can agree that Fice is menace to these poor horses and borderline abusive. While Manson is trying to distance herself and HiCaliber from him, it turns out she still has a horse in training with him and that horse is not having a good time. Fice got the brilliant idea to put a bucking saddle and rope on him and, as you can see in the above clip, has somebody in the round pen with him with a bull whip for some reason. It’s like he’s expecting that horse to attack him or something. I can’t say that I’d blame him if he did. It’s just all so wrong. Yes, Fice has recently progressed to riding Dylan, but how many sessions like this did Dylan have to endure? Bad enough there are gunsels like Fice out there and people that think it’s funny or cool, but when a rescue is paying him to treat horses like this, there is a big problem. This is NOT rescue. This is creating a horse that will eventually need to be rescued because the only thing he’s learned is that humans suck and being ridden is no fun at all. Hey, at least he’s bitless, right?
One thing I have noticed these past few days is that the village idiots are not the only ones that flock towards any hint of drama. It’s one thing to watch it all go down, but it’s entirely another to stir it up and that’s exactly what I’ve seen a lot of on both sides of the fence. I think it’s important to check ourselves and remember what we’re here for. What’s the end game for you? For me, it’s to end the suffering and needless deaths of the poor horses that end up at HiCaliber. It’s to correct the misinformation that Manson puts out there making it very difficult for legit rescues and advocates to do their very important work. I do not care if some village idiot wants to give up their kid’s lunch money to support the Manson eyelash fund as long as I know the actual facts are out there for them to see should they choose to do so. I haven’t deleted a thing and I’m not going to. They can all stomp their hooves and clutch their pearls and I’m going to keep busting up their lies and putting the truth out there. Manson is not suing anybody because she has a whole bunch to lose by going through discovery. Pasterfuck might think he’s suing somebody, but once he serves papers on the wrong person and gets a lawsuit right back in his own face, that will be the end of that. I know we’re a litigious society, but I’m pretty sure a lawsuit based on hurt feelings and rejection would be considered frivolous.
That wraps things up for another week. I think we can probably expect the grifting to amp up over the next two weeks since there will be the holiday lull at auction. This will leave HiCaliber needing to get creative in how they keep the funds rolling in. They can’t depend on acts of God and natural disasters to roll around enough to keep them in Fireball. Last year, Manson took a big long break where she hopped on her broom and headed off to Hawaii to put the oxygen mask on herself. Ironically, it was around this time last year they were dealing with strangles outbreaks and denying it too. It remains to be seen if Romney Faye’s return is a comeback or a cameo. I’m 50/50 on how I feel about that either way. I just really need the hoarding to stop. Manson told us on live feed the other day how she decides which horses she brings in are worthy of diagnostics. She said it like it was no big deal. She’s pretending to be a rescue, so it is actually a big deal. Every single horse she bring in is `worthy’ of diagnostics. If they can’t afford to do that, then they are bringing in too many horses. This is just one of many reasons she’s gotta get out of the rescue business. How about not buying horses she doesn’t have ability to rehabilitate or market? This is not rescue. This is a situation we rescue FROM. Spread the word, but please spread the real word and not a version of it. I’m going to leave a few contacts for people who would like to help the real victims of these fires.
These two stores are trying to coordinate getting supplies to the horses that evacuated closer to Bonsall. Donations sent through Del Mar and Mary’s aren’t making it up this way.

I know I usually wait until late Monday/early Tuesdays for these posts, but I figured when Manson returns from her latest travels on Monday, we’ll have a bunch more fuckery to deal with and I don’t really want what this guest poster has to say get buried in all of that. We’ve had former volunteers, insiders, and other rescues step up to make guest posts and every one of them took a risk in doing so. Today’s guest poster is no different. I’m sure that Manson will retaliate by sicking the village idiots on her as well as spreading her usual repertoire of damaging lies, all designed to discredit and shut people up. Guess what? It isn’t working and it won’t work. By supporting these people who are brave enough to step forward and spreading the word, we neutralize the malignant narcissism and willful stupidity the oozes out of Manson and her village idiots. There are some pictures attached with this post of the horses in question, before, during and then some time after events. The pictures of the horses immediately after leaving HiCaliber are not currently available as they are with the proper authorities. So, without further ado, I will turn over the blog to our guest poster. This is her HiCaliber experience, in her very own words…
I want, no I need, to share my experience with Hi Caliber.
It’s been 6 months since this rescue came into my world and I’m struggling to heal emotionally from this upheaval.
The upheaval in my life started when my sister and I were faced with the care and responsibility for my mom’s remaining horses after she passed away. There were three registered Appaloosa mares, one Appaloosa stallion and one registered Quarter horse mare, all with good minds and gentle souls. They were born and raised on her ranch with 20 years of love. My sister and I decided we would split the ownership in half. She would take two, I would take two and the fifth would be euthanized due to ongoing laminitis and ringbone pain that could not be resolved.
As fate would have it, my sister was soon after diagnosed with a serious life threatening disease. Her family did not support her taking on an additional two horses given her diagnosis and the personal struggle she was about to endure. I cannot tell you how devastating and fearful this news was. I had just lost my dad a year and half earlier to cancer, my mom from Alzheimer’s a year later, and now my sister was sick. My world was being turned upside down to say it mildly. What was I going to do? I couldn’t afford all these horses! And the work involved! Feeding, watering, and mucking stalls would be my future? I had been doing that my entire life. I could keep two. That’s it. No more!
My sister contacted a few rescues for relinquishment based on recommendations from the estate lawyer. She was also advised to offer a donation to help provide for their care including feed, vet care, and farrier costs. She calculated $2000 each which would provide care for a year to find adoption.
The first rescue showed up after requesting pictures and a short history on the two that would be relinquished. This rescue seems to be loved by all associated with it but I was not impressed. They wanted all the horses, not just her two. I told them I wanted to keep two. They started in on me rather harshly about the lack of hoof care on the horses and basically accused me of mistreating the horses and if I did not relinquish all I could expect Animal Control to visit. What the hell? I was furious! My love and devotion to these horses had a long history throughout the 35 year breeding and showing program I was raised on. This was absurd! Nevertheless I was shamed and ridiculed enough to say fine. Take them. I was doing the best I could and it wasn’t good enough. The horses would have a better life with this rescue and they would get their hooves the badly needed care.
The resulting fiasco that took place next is epic in my memory. The horses had never been off the property let alone loaded into a stock trailer with wood floors, no mats, dividers, or quick release ties (let alone a stud divider). I assume they thought they were all going to just stand there until everyone was loaded and ready to go. Their idea was to set up a small corral behind the trailer and have two horses at a time gently enter the trailer on their own time. The first two horses were led to the corral area. One horse walked right into the trailer but spooked immediately from the loud wood floors. She wanted out but couldn’t get herself turned around while the lady holding her didn’t think to back her out. The lady holding her of course had not opened the escape door and was panicked. The horse came flying out of the trailer. I jumped to the side in case she came over the corral but managed to grab her lead rope before it all came crashing down. The other rescue lady decided these horses were “too dangerous” and they weren’t going to take them. Back to the barn we went where it was suggested the horses be put down. They even offered to come be with the horses when the vet came! Imagine my surprise every time I read about my Appys from her perspective. I thought she was inexperienced and ridiculously frightened by horses. Her rescue is not one I will donate to or support ever.
Hi Caliber was the next rescue who came. The large Appy started limping that morning. When I cleaned out her hoof I removed a couple of rocks that were lodged in her hoof. We gave her some Bute and felt she would be ok. We told the HiCaliber people about her being sore. They came with a large trailer with a stud divider. They were very gentle with the horses as we loaded the first four without a lot of trouble. We put the calmest horse next to the stallion which was well advised as he was nuts being next to the mares. He caused such a ruckus one of the mares went down. They calmly unloaded and got her up. She was ok thank goodness. All the horses got right back in the trailer without a problem. The last horse to load was the lame one. She took longer but after some tranquilizer she made it in. We gave them a cashiers check for $10,000 and offered my turnout panels (35?) and any tack they might like.
Two people did return for the panels with some local help and a rented truck. It took two trips back to the ranch to get all the panels. They took some halters, leads, and bridles. I really felt I was helping them out because they were a rescue after all and needed donations like these to keep them helping the horses! I still have not got a receipt for any of it. I have asked a couple of times.
The next month was very hard. I felt aimless and lost without the horses. I heard about the blog after my daughter posted on HiCaliber’s Facebook page. I read the comments about how awful these owners were to ever let these horses get this way, how they were all lame, how foolish we were to give money this rescue, etc. It was haunting me. It was hurting my family, and I was miserable. I got involved with a local trainer, started looking around to find a horse I could ride, and teach my grandchildren how to ride. That helped a little but I was really having a hard time. I was worried about my mom’s horses. Would they be shot? Will they make it out of there? Who should I trust?
We got a phone call about a month after the horses left. It was someone from HiCaliber. The stallion (now gelding) was sick and not expected to make it. My sister and I went to visit him and see the others. We were able to get the address and arrived with only a ten minute window for them to prepare. Oddly, we were not introduced to the woman on the golf cart who was zipping around. We filled out the releases and started on our way. But we were taken to the mares first, not the sick gelding. The mares looked awful. No shade had caused their coats to fade horribly. One had a deep puncture sore on her cheek. I was told it was from the flymask. The mares were all in the same pen trying to get to the hay in the feeder. (It was one o’clock in the afternoon). They all were very skinny and wouldn’t come up to us as they were trying to eat. The Quarter horse mare looked absolutely horrible. I was told she was on a “hunger strike” from the stress of the move. I offered a suggestion to feed her alfalfa rather than grass hay. I was told they couldn’t feed that because of her founder. Founder? I was aghast.
We were taken to the barn where the gelding was. There were large IV bags hanging and I noticed some very sick horses in there.( I saw Fyretime in the corner stall, and I have never seen such a skinny horse). It was explained that the gelding was having bad diarrhea and his blood test showed he had a very high white blood cell count. They had sent a “blood test “to the vet earlier and it was confirmed he had Salmonella. I was told they had been up with him all night while the fluids were given. He was expected to make it now because the blood test confirmed what they needed to treat him for.
A week later I figured out who was on the golf cart when I was watching her explain her euthanasia practices. I heard her say she would be shooting the two lame Appys. I basically freaked out and called and told her I wanted her back. Absolutely under no terms was that mare to be put down. She convinced me to take the skinny Quarter mare back as well. It took about three weeks of trying to arrange their return. In the meantime, the other lame Appy was put down after I talked with their vet. I understood she was not going to get better and in fact was doing worse even with corrective shoes and pain killers. #Charity #sayhername
Upon the two mares return I cried. I cried out of relief, but I mostly cried however over the shape they were in. Both were skinny, skinny, skinny! They had a yucky discharge from their noses and bad coughs. The big Appy mare was beat up pretty bad with kick marks throughout her body and proud flesh on two of her legs. The shoer confirmed she had a stone bruise earlier which had caused the tenderness. The Quarter mare was anxious as hell, pacing constantly, had lost a lot of hair from dried sweat, and did I say skinny? Both horses ran to their stalls, drank water profusely, and gobbled up their hay faster than I could put more in. The vet and Animal Control were called. Both were very upset over the condition of the horses and all was documented and presented to the Attorney General. Both mares scored a 3minus and were put on the refeeding program out of UCDavis. The quarter mare was treated for stomach ulcers and is starting to trust again. I’ve never loved them more.
It was a heart breaking to see them in such bad shape. Both are doing well and have regained most of their weight. The scratches have healed and hopefully their hearts.
I couldn’t leave the other two there and worked on getting them home. I couldn’t imagine the horror they were going through.
Once home, I noticed they were also coughing with yucky snot. One had lost most of her hair and the gelding had a huge pot belly. The vet was summoned again to get treatment for the coughs. The mare needed weight but was otherwise ok. She wasn’t too bad!
She looked over the gelding and questioned a couple of things.
-There was no evidence of a catheter being placed in his neck (remember the IV bags?) She asked if I remembered seeing shaved hair or a catheter at the time. I had not.
-Salmonella is diagnosed with a culture not a blood test! Nothing was ever said about a culture. Only blood tests.
-She suspected he had pneumonia which appears to be what they all had upon their return. I did not request a panel given the cost.
I am still working on the wormy belly and loose bowels but otherwise he continues to heal. He is a sweet guy and I know he touched some hearts while he was there.
So in closing, I want to thank the writer of Shedrow and the many people who work behind the scenes and on the front lines to help the horses in HiCaliber’s care. Without them I know all five of my mom’s horses would be dead. I also want to thank a particular hater who has gone silent. I appreciate her guidance and support. She stepped up and helped me when I was so afraid. As far as the money, I was told it was all spent on the medical and farrier needs of the horses. (Funny math there). It can be pursued as a fraud case against HiCaliber.
I am not afraid anymore. I have witnessed first hand the horror of HiCaliber. I have been the victim of the lies and dishonesty. My horses have been the victims of no food, no water, no medical care, no shade, and plenty of neglect.

`Don’t push me’. That’s what Manson told advocates on her latest live feed where she announced the execution of five horses and one cow. She also told a record-breaking amount of lies in a short time period as she sat in her kitchen surrounded by her 3 stooges. Her live feed was likely designed to be part damage control and part threat. By `announcing’ her kills before they got leaked, she figured she could get the jump on advocates and seem less sinister. By flaunting them and some of the name choices as well as stating that there will be more, she attempted to force her detractors into silence. Guess what? Manson may be a big bitch, but I’m a bad one and I don’t scare easily. With that in mind, let’s get into dissecting what she said and, because I don’t scare so easily, I’m going to replace her #HiCalilberRealTalk with #ShedrowConfessionsRealTruth because the truth is what is important here rather than a version of events according to a proven liar and her sycophants.
Kimber was one of the lost yesterday. It was fairly obvious from the outset that Manson was going to kill her. Naming her Kimber should have been a big clue considering that is the name of Romney Faye’s former fiancee’s former girlfriend he dumped Romney Faye for in order to return to. (Does that make sense? Romney stole Darrell from Kimber and Kimber took him back) Manson was tossing around the term `bone change’ a lot yesterday along with her standard ringbone diagnosis. Bone change always sounds so serious and certainly death worthy. Unfortunately for Manson, the majority of us are not drooling idiots like her fans and realize that almost every horse is going to eventually have `bone change’ if they’ve been a working horse at any point in their life. A little arthritis in the hocks here, an old popped split there, it’s all `bone change’. Hell, humans have bone change too and it’s manageable. Even though Manson was always going to kill her, Kimber, being tired from her trip home, didn’t help matters by laying down and not wanting to get up. Rather than give her a day or two to see if she rebounded, Manson decided to add her to the killing spree she was planning. There appears to be the vet in one of the pictures with her, but no x-rays or vet certificate was shown. I know Manson never owns her part in anything, but if this mare was in such dire condition that she couldn’t be given a week or two grace, perhaps hauling her 2 hours from auction to get shot in the face wasn’t exactly humane either. Even though they only showed the pictures of Kimber while she was down, I’m guessing they drug her to her feet and she was fine to march her down to the killing fields. God forbid Manson break a nail. RIP Kimber.#sayhername
Impression was also killed on Wednesday. I apologize I don’t have a better screen grab or picture of her. That’s the best I could find and about as much coverage as they gave her. No dramatic and creative post for Impression. Manson’s x-ray eyes gave her chute diagnosis and declared her a `likely’ compassion pull which meant for sure a compassion pull in Mansonspeak. It was kind of difficult to see how the little mare actually moved, but she did appear to be dragging Wrinkles around a bit on her Freedom Walk Death March. Yes, she did have feet that suggested past issues, but probably long past. Manson also mentioned that they had turned down buying this same horse a few weeks prior because they felt her owner was asking too much. That owner was likely Nacho and because Manson does not like him, apparently that meant she was perfectly ok with sending this `so horribly crippled she needs to be shot right away’ horse home with him lest she have to cough up some of her eyelash money to save her. Her comfort and suffering was not more important than Manson’s own creature comforts. Don’t forget that it wasn’t that long ago that Manson told us she was going to bid as high as she needed to in order to get that perlino stud because her FUPA told her to. Apparently her FUPA didn’t have the same feelings about the little buckskin mare. Now, two weeks later, when she’s got the village idiots digging deep, the little mare is all of a sudden too far gone to live another day or warrant a set of rads to see what was really going on. Manson also mentioned the horse lost weight in the last few weeks. If Impression really was unsalvageable, and that’s a big if, this wouldn’t be the first time Manson sent a horse home to suffer for a few weeks so she could milk more money out of the situation. Manson likes to threaten slaughter quite a bit, but keep in mind this guy took her home for 2 weeks before bringing her back. If he really was a kill buyer don’t you think he would have shipped her rather than let her eat into his profit? She also looked like her feet were recently trimmed as well. Rest Easy Beautiful, so sorry this band of thieves got their hands on you. #sayhername
I know we talked about Serena’s death on the last post. She’s likely been dead for a week or more, so I’m not sure why Manson decided to cop to it last night. Maybe she was proud or something. Maybe she did only die on Wednesday and in that case we’re still looking for horse #4 from last week. Maybe it makes her moist, but dead is dead. This mare wasn’t in that bad of shape and again, no vet signing off or real explanation; at least not from a 100% vet. RIP Serena #sayhername
Phantom
Phantom also took the long walk yesterday. Phantom was a purchase from Salvador in the Euclid parking lot about a month ago. I recall that Amanduh and the other dopes didn’t know what a roach back or how to measure a horse that day. I also remember thinking this mare’s days were numbered because there was no way on earth Manson would keep a horse around that had zero chance of hauling her fat ass on a trail ride. So, they waited until people stopped asking about her and then added her to the euth list. Since none of the village idiots were overly attached to her or asking after her, Manson felt safe in blasting her away and gave the vague excuse of her becoming uncomfortable. Why is it that horse deteriorate so quickly at this `rescue’? RIP Phantom. #sayhername
Victim #5 yesterday was Aviana. It was a straight up murder and even though Manson attempted to point the finger at her critics, she’s never been good at covering her tracks. Aviana’s crimes were being blind, clumsy, and hard for them to handly. Apparently, they were risking their lives by having to mess with her and Manson claimed it cost her $100 in sedation every time she needed her feet done. One quick check with a local vet confirmed that as a complete lie. It would cost approximately $15 for Manson to sedate this mare but you can round up to $20 for the sake of argument. A very long ways from $100 at any rate. Then we were told how hard she was to place but, as you can see above, the last anybody heard about this mare she was placed and before that, Manson was unwilling to entertain the idea of a foster home for her even though she said she needed a more quiet environment. She claimed to have even called the haters to have placed this mare, but nobody I know, myself included, ever heard from Manson. As if anybody believes that she would have let that mare go to one of her rivals. What really pisses me off with this situation is that this mare came to them with the cloudy eye. She wasn’t having trouble adjusting, she was probably blind like that since she raced. It happens to lots of race horses that take a clod in the eye and they do just fine. In the above video they talk about her being low on the totem pole and getting pushed around by other horses, which might have explained her `clumsiness’. She was killed because of their shortcomings. Learn how to use a lip chain and a scotch hobble instead of those ill-fitting and improperly tied rope halters. How about handling her and spending time with her at other times than just when you want to drag her in to get her feet done or doctor a wound she never should have in the first place? She sat for months out in a herd with no individual attention and then Manson and her stooges were offended she didn’t warm up to them? Whichever way Manson wants to spin this, Aviana was murdered. There was NO EXCUSE and nobody can adopt horses they don’t even know are there. Rest Easy Aviana. #sayhername
Cook, the calf was the sixth kill they talked about yesterday. Conveniently sharing a name with one of Manson’s sworn enemies whom she had ranted about at length earlier the same day, Manson always planned to kill this calf. Though she claimed that the vet signed off on it, she is right here on film in the chutes(above) diagnosing this animal and saying she’s taking him home to kill. She told the village idiots that he had a `ruptured abdominal wall’. Well, duh Manson, that’s kinda what a hernia is and it’s really fixable. In fact, it’s so fixable, it’s field surgery. One lady tried to tell Manson this only to be attacked by the village idiots and then Satan weighed in. I find it somewhat strange that it took the death of a calf to finally motivate Satan, but she unleashed what we all knew would eventually happen way back when they decided to team up with her. Satan turned on Manson and HiCaliber and she didn’t just throw them under the bus, she backed that bus up and drove over them a few times too. Satan admitted that HiCaliber lied about horse prices *shocker* among other things. It was fairly glorious to see and I don’t think Satan is done with Manson yet. I also know that Satan’s `tribe’ will likely take the village idiots to school, so the coming days should make for great entertainment if you’re into drama. If you happen to have a desire to watch what Satan had to say about HiCaliber just click this link . You gotta know you’re a piece of shit and a nobody in the horse world when a bottom feeder like Satan calls you shady. I also know that we owe a debt of gratitude to Cook for tipping the balance. RIP Cook, your life mattered too. #sayhisname
Dropping of Misner’s cash
Crates outside of Misner’s
Bubba building cow crates
Misner building crates
Cows headed to Qatar
Bubba Misner
Cows at the airport wating to go to Doha
While we’re on the subject of cows, I figure this is a good time to reveal another of Manson’s latest cons. I’m sure many of you have noticed her sudden interest in cows and some of you might even find it odd considering how she used to claim to be terrified of them. Lately, we can’t really get through a week without her networking them or dragging a few home. There have been a whole bunch of dairy culls at auction lately it seems. Then, on her live feed on the way home from auction this past Tuesday, Manson claimed to be on a back road in `dairy country’ and stopping in to see a `cattle rancher’. None of the village idiots thought to question why she would be visiting a cattle rancher when she had a trailer full of horses. Where she actually was, was about 5 minutes away from auction, parked in front of Misner’s house and the role of `cattle rancher’ was being played by Bubba. I guess he needed a new role given that Salvador has kinda taken over the `kill buyer with the heart of gold’ role and Nacho has stepped into the `notorious flipper’ role that Salvadaor vacated. As Manson pointed out the crates that they were stuffing three cows in and stacking so that they could make the 20 hour trip to Doha by plane, various village idiots expressed their disgust and outrage. Even Manson tried to act like she cared and made some comment about factory farms or whatever. Wrinkles, being thoroughly over excited to be back in the front seat again, thought it was `cool’. Well, it turns out this is Misner’s newest business venture and he is the one shipping the cattle over there like this, making money hand over fist. Buckle up Village Idiots, I see a lot more mangled calves in your immediate future.
Manson and her lazy eye making up some more lies
Two of the three stooges
Now, let’s talk about Manson’s live feed where she `announced’ the latest murder rampage. To set the scene for y’all, she was seated in her kitchen with Amanduh and Skeletor and later joined by Wrinkles. Manson was defiant when announcing the latest round of executions, including taking time to go on a foul-mouthed rant at one person that dared question her. She pretty much ran the gamut of faux emotions from laughing with her fellow horse killers, to attempting to cry for the camera (that part didn’t work so well after her latest round of botox) and then back to angry. The lies were fast and furious not the least of which was when she called Amanduh, apparently head of medical now, and Skeletor, head of the feeding team, `intelligent women’. Excuse me? In what alternate reality do either of these two know shit about horses? The only credential, if you can even call it that, anybody can find on Amanduh is that she once was on a 4H quiz team. Skeletor has zero background in horses and, according to active volunteers, knows nothing about them but now that she lives at the ranch has parked herself so far up Manson’s ass she’s reinvented herself as Manson-lite. Let’s face it, there is a medical team leader that thinks horses have `back knees’ and a feeding team leader that can’t even figure out how to feed herself. Before y’all get outraged and screech about body shaming, go tell it to somebody that cares. I lost all sympathy for Skeletor watching her sit there and pretend she didn’t know and complain about Manson trying to kill perfectly healthy horses before and laughing and joking around last night after having just participated in the murder of six animals. Of course this was right before they all went out for a celebratory dinner at The Macaroni Grill paid for by the donor dollars. It’s not like at least three of those horses are going to be using that responsible rescue money they just had to have raised before they earned the privilege of getting hauled back to the ranch to get shot in the face.
Another feature of Manson’s little sermon on the mount was the discussion of moles. I always find that part amusing since Manson thinks there is only one or two. Right now she’s got more moles than she has loyals and she will never guess in a million years who the little birds are although I’ve dropped enough hints at her. That’s what happens when you replace a loyal ass barnacle for a shiny new one. Right Little Bird? It also doesn’t really matter because Manson will still lie because that’s all she knows how to do.
Manson tried to blame advocates for all these killings. She blames us for the drop in donations and that’s why she has to kill horses she can’t get adopted out, but out of the other side of her botoxed mouth, she claims not to kill for space. I guess it doesn’t occur to her that nobody can adopt horses they don’t know are there. Perhaps if she learned to present and market them properly that may help. Hell, even let people know they are there at all rather than just doing one big photo dump of her culls and then spend the rest of the time doing live feeds of her eating and talking about her getting her snatch waxed. Most of her live feeds lately don’t even show horses at all and discuss them very little. She has threatened more killing to come, with Major being high on the list. Does anybody remember hearing much about Major since they bought him months ago? Anybody? The next thing you’re likely to hear about him is that he’s dead because Manson will have considered that hour and a half long shit fest his `last chance’ mention. Or maybe people have stopped donating because they are tired of never hearing about those horses again after they are drug home from auction. Maybe they’re just tired of being told to eat a dick or that Manson is not their bitch when they dare to ask for an update. Manson defended her actions by citing California Penal Code 597.1. Doesn’t that sound impressive? We all know she used to be an AC officer and she waves that around every chance she gets even though she was a shitty one by all accounts. The problem is that California Penal Code 597.1 doesn’t really say what she claims it does, which was that it requires that they follow the advice of a veterinarian. That’s not exactly what it says at all, but it sounds very officious. You can check it out on this link I actually found this other penal code even more interesting though:
Once again Manson claimed to be euthanasia certified which is also a lie. We’ve been through that already and with many talented people and insiders digging, the only thing she is certified for is to carry a baton and that appears to be suspended. Manson isn’t really even licensed to have a gun that anybody knows of and it’s fairly certain that Amanduh and Skeletor for sure aren’t licensed to be shooting horses even though Manson hinted around that she had trained back up shooters since O’Brian’s death. Who knows, maybe she’s trained her young daughter to kill horses since she proudly told everybody her kid is often present for the executions. Mother of the year, she is. Manson also fell back on her old argument that she wasn’t going to make those horses `suffer’ by having needle in their neck as their last moment on earth and they would leave with people they love. Yeah, it sounds like Aviana really loved them and the other ones didn’t even know them. The main reason they killed Aviana was because she didn’t like them messing with her and now we’re supposed to believe she was happy and grateful to be shot in the face? Those horses didn’t know nor were they comforted by these people. The two they drug home yesterday especially didn’t know them or feel comforted. Stuffed in a trailer and hauled to a strange feed lot and then drug to their feet and down to an area to stand next to other dead bodies under a tarp? Yeah, real comforting end for them and don’t bullshit people about the them having a needle either. Manson sedates them all to the point of staggering before she shoots them. She even bragged about how she doesn’t show emotion because she has her `game face’ on. She it truly a monster.
Another feature of Manson’s long-winded rant was the `saved from slaughter’ and `it’s still rescue’ schtick. Let’s talk about that. None of us are ever going to be able to save every single horse. None of us will even be able to make a dent in the number of horses shipping to slaughter because it is a supply and demand business. The contracts will always be filled, no matter what. To make a difference in the slaughter problem, you have to educate people and Manson has no clue herself. She’s hurting the anti-slaughter movement by enabling people like Misner as well as spreading misinformation to suit her agenda. She puts money in the hands of people who abuse and break horses by tripping and all kinds of other unspeakable horrors. People like Salvador and then, to make matters worse, she repackages these same people as heroes so she can continue to line her pockets by partnering with them. No, that’s not rescue. There will never be a shortage of horses needing help, so I don’t understand why she needs to drag home horses she knows she doesn’t have the skill set to rehabilitate and adopt out. Don’t do well with blind horses? Stop buying them. Don’t do well with mustangs? Same thing. Instead she puts the word out that she wants the most mangled horses they can find because she knows they bring in the sympathy cash and she can shoot them right away. She has no business messing with OTTBS. She went on about her `high-end’ jumpers on live feed. The stupid bitch doesn’t even own a cavaletti, so how the hell does she know what a high end jumper is? BTW, the correct term would be high level, but the best she may have there is a decent prospect provided Amanduh hasn’t fucked it up yet. Manson and her merry band of gunsels wouldn’t know what a good mover looked like if it ran over them.
As many of you might have surmised, I’m not backing down. If anything, Manson’s latest stunt and death threats have galvanized me to dig in deeper and I certainly know it’s backfired in other ways she hasn’t even begun to fathom yet. The pure and unmitigated gall of her to sit there with her fake nails, botoxed face and tacky purple hair extensions preaching about donations being down and not being able to afford to keep all these lame horses. She has often stated she has no income and that Becky paid for everything. Well, Becky is long gone so who is paying now? That amount of wax needed to deal with the expanse of real estate on her FUPA probably cost the same as the GNP of a small country alone. Who paid for the new used BMW she’s been seen tooling around in since Becky left? Funny that happened around the same time she claimed she needed 20K for a permit. This weekend she’s reportedly making her third trip, in little more than six weeks, to Texas all because her lesbianism went out the door with Becky’s paycheck and she can’t catch a dick within an 1800 mile radius of Valley Center. Guess who’s paying for that. Manson claims all her critics are anti-euthanasia. I’m not at all. I am anti unneccessary killing of healthy animals to line your pockets though.
I’m sure the name `Marek’ was just a coincidence too.
As I mentioned earlier, Manson is now making a habit of naming horses after people she feels threatened by. I keep waiting for a horse to be named `Shed’. She can deny it all she wants, but she was on a rant about Teresa Cook just before naming that calf. She also likes to pretend all the authorities are in her pocket. More lies. I called the real Teresa Cook and not only has she not sent a petition in to anybody, Manson had the subject wrong of one Teresa had started but hadn’t actually looked at in weeks, so no, the state vet did not come up to Manson to commiserate, just like the county wasn’t working with her to `help other rescues’ with their permits like she claimed and just like the state vet never came out to inspect anything other than the paperwork of the Louisiana horses a few months ago. Manson may have slept with her boss back in the day but she holds no sway with any agency now. If you’re as pissed off as I am about the threats and the lies, then it’s time for action. I’ve been passive in asking this before, but no more. It’s time for everybody to be squeaky wheels. I’m going to leave you links and if you need help with any of it, drop a comment. There are several knowledgable people who read and comment on this blog who will be happy to help you. She tells people to call Dr. Talbot to confirm what she says, then call her bluff. Call Dr. Talbot with Palomar Equine and ask why he’s signing off on the euthanasia of viable animals. These animals are not her personal animals. They are bought and supported by donations and you have a right to know, so if she won’t post the receipts and certificates then you go to the source and demand them. The body count for this month alone, is around 18 horses. Enough is enough. Push has come to shove. #saytheirnames #ShedrowConfessionsRealTruth
